Urbano
Support for broom, dustpan and bags for free public consumption.
An urban totem-support to support any broom with dustpan and to house common plastic bags, elements that the citizen chooses to donate to the community for public use.
An object conceived as an activator of public civility, where everyone cleans their corner of the park, street, sidewalk, compensating for neglect and degradation with a generous offer of cleaning.
The elements are replaced over time based on the spontaneous offerings of citizens; the support remains.
And then, as Marcus Aurelius wrote:
“What is not harmful to the city does not harm the citizen either. Whenever you think you have suffered damage, apply the following rule: if this does not harm the city, it does not harm me either. However, if the city is damaged, you must not get angry, but show the author of the damage what he has neglected.”
