Hostaria a Trastevere
The Romans' love for food and good wine is demonstrated by the ancient origins and the persistence of the characteristic wine bars over the centuries.
The Osterie date back to Roman times, so important for the city of Rome that in via Biberatica dei Mercati Traianei it still preserves the overlapping rows of "wine bottles".
You cannot really know Rome if you have never sat in a typical taberna_osteria, where the act of sitting obviously has the hidden desire to belong to this place with its uses and customs.
Small inventions and details characterize the contemporaneity of the project of this ancient Osteria in the Trastevere area, facing Ponte Sisto.
Project: Nicola Auciello with Manuela Gentile.
