Daytiles

Daytiles aims to be a clear reference and homage to the graphics of the now historic calendars designed by Enzo Mari for Alias by Danese (1962, Calendario Formosa), by Massimo Vignelli for Nava (1979, Max 365).
The numbers are positioned irregularly and non-consequentially, as are the months (as if to underline that “time does not exist but is an invention of human beings”*):
a play on dimensions, graphics and colour (black and white as for Mari and Vignelli).

* “Time does not pass at all. It is not a river, it is not a ribbon. It is we who pass.
